Making parts that support Japanese industry from behind is interesting

I want everyone to like bearings.

To be honest, I think there are many people who do not know the existence of “bearings”. Unless you like cars or are interested in machines, you won’t hear about it.
However, even though it was such a niche part, I learned that it is a core part of every machine we use every day, and I was interested in it because I thought that the feeling of being an unsung hero was similar to myself.
When I was looking for a bearing manufacturer, I found Mayekawa Mfg. Co., Ltd., and frankly thought “I want to acquire the technology here” because of my commitment to quality, so I joined the company.

I had a hard time getting used to the world of "micron"

Since I was originally in the construction industry, I thought I had prepared the basics of manufacturing as a mindset, but I had a lot of trouble because the level of precision was different.
Specifically, architecture is in units of “millimeters” and “centimeters”, but bearing manufacturing requires adjustment in “micron” units. To be honest, it took me about a year and a half to get used to the precision.
I sometimes made mistakes, but at that time I was immediately followed up, and even when I was depressed, he listened to me and gave me advice, and I am aware that I received enthusiastic support in every aspect.

I want to be a company where everyone can grow

I personally believe that since joining the company, I have grown not only as a craftsman but also as a “human being.”
When I had something I didn’t understand, I first thought about it with my own mind, and then I had the image of having my seniors answer each other, so I developed the ability to think for myself. I myself am in a position where I still have to grow, but one piece of advice for those who will join the company is that it is most important to accept failures honestly.
You can make mistakes. But it’s a shame to make it absent or hide it. I’m sure there are many seniors who have made the same mistakes, so feel free to rely on us.

how to spend the holidays

I like the bath, so I often go to the public baths in the town on my way home from work and on holidays.
